Implant

"The second permanent teeth" is not an exaggerated description of implant. There are many people who are unhappy about losing teeth. Use of false teeth and bridges were only available method, before. For those who do not remove false teeth in front of other people or those who wish to avoid shaving healthy teeth off, implant is recommended, for it will prevent reduction of but promote metabolism of the jawbone.

Titanium, the material used for implant, hardly ever cause rejection as it gets fused with the bone.

@The process required having new teeth:
1. The first process - planning:
Have an X-ray photo taken of your jaws at a dental clinic and plan with the dental surgeon how to make implant, suitable for your gum and bones.

2. The second process:
An operation to bury the fixture will be executed. The gum is cut slightly to peel off the membrane which covers the jawbone, and drill small holes. The fixture is screwed into the bone. Cover the fixture for the second process. Replace the membrane and sew it on.

3. The third process:
After one to three months (depending on the bone condition) the second operation will be executed. The fixture will be uncovered and the abetment (the fulcrum for new synthetic teeth) is connected.

4. Before the new tooth (teeth) is installed:
A little after the second operation is completed, a mould for new teeth will be made. After a number of adjustment, new teeth will be fastened on the abetment.
As I.V. anesthetic will be used, there will be pain or fear during the operations. We use a tonometer and an electrocardiogram to constantly observe the physical conditions. You can have your new teeth implanted safely.
